Mt.Everest South Col.8848

Mt. Everest first got its name from a British Sir George Everest. In Nepal,it is called Sagarmatha(Goddess of the Sky). This place is not only popular for the highest peak in the world but also for the typical Sherpa villages and monasteries with their year's culture and traditions. In fact Solukhumbu has many possibilities for a full-scale expedition to an independent trek with tents and porters along with local lodges. The Sagarmatha national Park covers much of this area. This national park is an exceptional area with dramatic mountains, glaciers and deep valleys, dominated by Mt. Everest. We have to arrange and settle our mind staying at Base Camp. After Base Camp, we have to cross the ice-blocks and crevasses along with large chunks of ice larger than our houses. We must use the fixed rope and aluminiom ladder to climb ahead.
Camp 1st (appr. 6400m.): Actually the 1st camp is located at the wide area of deep and endless crevasses and mountain walls of the snow. The rays of the sun directly fall upon the first camp, so this camp is quite hot. The crackling sound of the sun may be heard beneath the tent. This is the first step to climb up the second camp.
Camp2nd (appr.6750m.): The wind may be too violent in this camp and the tents. This step is known as a second ladder to reach the summit.
Camp3rd (appr.7100m.): When the climbing goes up, oxygen may be needed. This place adjoins the mount Lhotse wall.
Camp 4th (8400m.): This is the last camp and is supposed to the dangerous point of climbing. From this point, you have to climb up only 500 meters to reach the summit. Once you reach the peak, you will feel the celestial joy.
