NYT Launch in New Year

 Nepal Tourism Board in association with the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the UN launched Nepal Tourism Year 2011 in New York on Oct. 14, 2011 amid a huge gathering of New York based media and tour operators.

Nepal's permanent representative to the UN Gyan Chandra Acharya highlighted Nepal's Tourism attractions and urged tour operators and the media about the new product offering during NYT 2011. The two Everest summiteers, Joe Yannuzzi and Sophie Denis, were declared honorary goodwill ambassadors in the US for NYT 2011 at the event. The program was attended by more than 80 Us tour operators and members of the media, officials of Nepal, Permanent Mission and friends of Nepal in the New York city.
